Colby
Colby came to her new home yesterday. This beautiful bay mare will
turn 3 yrs in April which is the age Arabians are started under saddle.
She will continue to grow into her long legs for the next four years and
should easily reach 15-1/2 hands.  Very good ground manors,
beautiful soft eyes, not your typical flighty Arab and friendly.  My
gelding has either fallen in love or lust. Still have them both separated
but she follows the fence line with him. The mare's breeding is really
something, including top widely recognized names in both endurance
and racing. She definitely has the bloodlines to be a strong
performance horse and I feel confident will be able to start her under
saddle once she has had some time to get adjusted to her new home.

This mare could not have come into my life at a better time.  Needed
a few months to heal after the passing of mine now three months ago,
had to get another trailer and now with day light savings will work with
her when I come home in the evenings.   I too have needed a fun job
(besides my real one 50+hrs each week and the upkeep of this place)
and have gained additional purpose. Daughter can't wait to see her
today will have to see that she does not spoil her to much.  Not sure
what I will nickname the mare but will have to be something fitting for
this regal equine.
