Community Service Program for Students
CERA offers community service hours to both junior high and high school students. We share the passion of rescue and caring and helping make a better place for the horses who have been abused, neglected and abandoned. This program gives students the opportunity to volunteer at CERA. Students get involved not only with the day‐to‐day maintenance of the farm, but also experience the “how to” hands on care of the horses by watching our interaction with the horses. Each student learns, first hand, about the responsibility of horse care and ownership. Through this program, the students experience how caring for these horses will teach them attributes and qualities that allow them to be better human beings and enrich their lives forever.
