Pre-Veterinary Program for College Students
This is a program for students that are currently in college, taking animal related classes, allowing them to have hands on experience with several different horses that have different personalities. Each week, students are responsible for a different horse. Grooming, basic ground manners, bathing etc. are all included. A vet, farrier and other professionals will come to the farm for students to learn and ask any questions. Students also learn the safest way to handle a difficult horse. Days and hours vary. To apply, please send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org with your bio, what college you are attending, any equine experience and the reason why you are applying. This course is being offered during summer break only and a Certificate of Achievement will be given upon completion.
