After reaching celebrity status, it was time for Molly and Sammy to make an appearance at a local school. Everyone had a lot of fun that day! Sammy has a new best friend now (Alfie), but Molly still checks on him to this day. 









Sammy the mini came into CERA’s program in August of 2018. He was nothing but skin and bones and we honestly didn't know whether he would live. Darlene posted a little video with no caption and it became a worldwide internet sensation. The video shows Molly, CERA's 3-year-old Golden Retriever comforting Sammy who was very scared. 

Molly truly has an exceptional sense of knowing when one of the animals doesn’t feel good. So she always very gently introduces herself. This is her job and she is very good at it. We knew that Sammy had a long journey to recovery ahead of him, which is far from over. Here's is their story - in Darlene's own words...

Thanks to donations, Sammy was able to receive much needed surgery to help him move better. As Sammy started to feel better, he started to really come out of his shell, as you can see in the video below...
